Turkey Italian sandwich with chips!Not all meals are fancy, but some sandwiches are fancier than others!I started by toasting some @carbonautbaking bread with a touch of butter. Then on one side I melted a thick cut piece of cheddar cheese before flipping it over to get that nice crispy cheese skirt. I threw the turkey right on the griddle to arm it alongside some baby spinach. Chicken Parmesan is always delicious! I dipped this chicken breast in an egg wash, then coated it in a mixture of @baconsheir pork panko, parmesan cheese and @spiceology Over easy seasoning. Then I repeated the process for a second layer and baked the chicken at 350 on a parchment lined sheet till it was golden brown, flipping at the 20 minute mark.Once done it got a bit of sauce and plenty of shredded mozzarella before goin under the broiler. The noodles are @miraclenoodle fettuccine noodles rinsed well and then cooked in a dry pan for a few minutes to dry out. Then I added some butter and more Over easy seasoning. Carne Asada NachosThese nachos hit the spot! Loaded up with all the toppings I need to pack every bite with flavor! I made baked chips using @guerrerotortillas zero net carb tortillas, simply sliced, tossed in olive oil and baked at 325 till crispy. The pico is a mix of diced jalapeno, Roma tomato and onion, tossed with some lime juice and salt. Of course the @brandingironranch carne asada brought the flavor! Cooked over medium high heat in a pan with a bit of butter and olive oil. For the cheese I went with @caciquefoods quesadilla cheese and some white queso. Everything gets layered together in a pie pan and baked at 325 till the cheese is all melted. Smoked Chuck RoastThis is a @butcher_box chuck roast, seasoned with @neilsarap Jamaican rub and smoked low and slow all day! I cooked it similar to a brisket, low and slow when it got the rich color and internal temp stalled I wrapped it in butcher paper and bumped the temp from 225 to 275 to finish. Then it rested, wrapped for an hour before slicing. You can clearly see those @bearmountainbbq apple wood pellets put in some work! Look at the color and that ring! Quick grilled steak for lunch. I tied up this sirloin from @butcher_box like a filet and gave it a quick grill. @bearmountainbbq apple wood pellets, on a @yodersmokers ys640s at 350 to an internal of 125 and then let it carryover cook. Seasoned with @neilsarap southwest ap and that's all I need. Food and Wine are just made for each other. First thank you to @lloydcellars for sending this exceptional Pinot Noir. The aromatics on the nose are some of the best I have ever experienced! It paired wonderfully with the fresh cracked pepper from the @hexclad peppermill pepper and highlighted the dishes' flavors overall. When the wine and food are in harmony and both at the top of their game you are in for a treat. Not only was I excited to enjoy this fantastic pairing, but I am also excited to get to meet the Lloyd and HexClad teams at the @calwinefestThe Pinot Noir was paired with a @Spiceology rosemary dijon rubber pork chop and grilled over an open flame. As a side, I sauteed some fresh green beans in my HexClad pan, cooking the green beans with some black pepper bacon, and topping them with crispy shallots and Boursin cheese. The subtle smoke from the pork, the earthiness from the green beans, the fresh black pepper, and the creamy cheese balanced with the crispy shallots were just a perfectly balanced meal. Each bite is followed by a sip of this incredible wine.
