Pork belly magic! When your friends invite you to a tailgate, pork belly and pork belly sliders will always be a winner. This pork belly was sliced into slabs and tossed in @spiceology hickory peach Porter rub. With the smoker preheated to 225, the pork belly was smoked with @bearmountainbbq cherry wood pellets for about 4 hours, giving it a deep and rich color and lovely smokey flavor. The thinner slabs were almost a pork jerky, with thicker ones falling into that pork belly burnt ends territory. After 4 hours they were tossed in a disposable tray with some butter and covered, cooking another hour.
