Smoked Turkey Cheese Burger

A balanced profile of smoke, turkey and spices. This turkey burger is sure to please even the beef fans.

  • 1 Tablespoon White Bulls BBQ Bird Gang
  • 1 Tablespoon Panko
  • 2 Teaspoons worcestershire
  • 1/2 pound Ground Turkey
  • 1/4 pound cheddar cheese (shredded fine)

Prep

  1. Combine Ground Turkey, worcestershire, Bird Gang and Panko in a bowl, mixing gently. Do not over mix or compact the meat.

  2. Split mixture into two portions

  3. form each portion into a lose ball and place on parchment paper

  4. Press down gently to form a patty roughly the same diamater as your bun.

The Smoke

  1. Preheat the smoker to 225

  2. Place patties carfully on the grill

  3. Smoke at 225 for about 45 minutes before flipping the burger patty

  4. Smoke till desired temprature/doneness. I am for around 175

The Cheese

  1. Preheat a griddle or non stick pan over medium heat

  2. sprinkle cheese directly over the pan forming a sircile just larger then your burger patty

  3. As the cheese begins to bubble, place the burger patty over the cheese

  4. You will know its done as you get larger bubbles around the edges or can smell that grilled cheese smell.

Assembly

  1. Assemple with your favorite toppings

  2. Pictured includes, Tomato, Avacado, bacon, and pickles.
