Some more of my eats from last week to fuel my progress towards reducing body fat %. Kept my workouts consistent, mostly healthy meals, lots of daily steps. The chicken stir fry was delicious. Chicken was tossed in equal parts of rice flour and corn starch, and pan fried. I made a lot of extra for meal prep. Burger was done stovetop, which is rare for me, but delicious with bacon, pickles, lettuce and mustard. And a good ole charcuterie board with 10 year @cabotcreamery cheddar being the winner! Finally some scrambled eggs, with tons of spinach and cheese.Everything is loaded with protein. Generally pretty low carb. And real food focused.

Another high protein lunch today. Hearts of Romain and celery are the base, tossed in @litehousefoods homestyle ranch and @spiceology togarashi seasoning. I then mixed in some Parmesan cheese and topped it with 2 hard boiled eggs and a cubed up pork chop. The pork chop was seasoned with the same togarashi and smoked with @bearmountainbbq pellets. It's amazing how wildly different you can make a salad taste by using a good seasoning to bring life to your lettuce base.#healthymeals #salad #bearmountainbbq #mealprep

2026 goal, get to sub 20% body fat percentage (I estimate this around 165lbs). I will maintain my workout routine and focus and high protein and low carb again. More real food and less snacks as well. This was my start, a workout this morning (first one in 2 weeks!) and a salad with @bearmountainbbq smoked pork chop seasoned with @spiceology garlic junkie. Nothing too crazy for new years resolutions, more marginal improvement and iteration on this journey I have been on for years now. Help hold me accountable, I'll do the same for you and we can continue to improve together. #bearmountainbbq #fitnessjourney

What a busy and truly wonderful year it has been! We are so thankful for the many incredible experiences we've shared with family and friends. We kicked off 2025 with a historical trip to Washington D.C., exploring countless museums and walking the city. The year of milestones quickly followed! We celebrated my 40th Birthday in sunny Cabo with close friends-a perfect trip full of fun and relaxation. Later in the Spring, we embarked on a remarkable journey to Italy to celebrate my 10-year work anniversary (achieved last year). Our Italian adventure was filled with architecture, cooking, delicious dining, and scenic hikes through Rome, Florence, Cinque Terre, Venice, and Milan.Closer to home, we enjoyed time outdoors, celebrating Lisa's birthday in Big Bear with Jet and Ember, enjoying fall leaves, lake time, and beautiful hikes. With lots of help from Lisa's parents we built a new front deck for the Julian cabin. We spent relaxing pool time and plenty of fetch with the pups at my parents.Somewhere in between all the fun, we both continue to achieve success in our current roles at work and are gearing up for a wonderful year ahead.Wishing you a joy filled holiday season, full of laughter and time spent with loved ones.-Justin, Lisa, Jet & Ember

Bruschetta and smoked chicken breast Sourdough toast topped with fresh mozzarella, habanero balsamic drizzle and a mix of diced tomatoes, garlic, parmesan, balsamic, olive oil, basil, salt and pepper. Served up with chicken breast that was smoked with @bearmountainbbq gourmet blend. I started the grill at 350 to hear the grill grates then dropped the temp to 225 for a nice smoke to pair with the bruschetta. The result is a beautiful smokey chicken breast. #bruschetta #smokedchicken #bearmountainbbq #dinnerinspiration

Millennial ToastWhat is more millennial than a hybrid avocado toast, eggs benedict and chili crisp? This starts with fresh homemade sourdough bread, topped with some melted seriously sharp @cabotcreamery cheese, guacamole, a @bearmountainbbq gourmet blend grilled chicken breast, and finally two poached eggs with a drizzle of garlic chili crisp. Served up with a nice latte and I was channeling all those Sunday morning vibes. #brunch #sundaymornings #avocadotoast #eggsbenedict #chilicrisp #bearmountainbbq #cabotcheese #millennials

Food on a stick is more fun. Chicken breast skewers and a nice mix of red onion, red bell pepper and pineapple. A little @bearmountainbbq gourmet blend smoke to get things started and then a direct grill to get that char working. I chose the gourmet blend because I wanted to get a nice balanced smoke in a short time period before going direct over the fire at a higher temp. This gave me a nice smoke and also worked really well for the direct grill. Towards the end I gave the chicken a nice coating of @terrapinridgefarms sweet heat. #chickenskewers #kebab #tropicalvibes #bearmountainbbq

Do tacos heal your soul too? These shrimp tacos were exactly what I needed. I used @spiceology black magic rub to bring the bold flavor and cooked with @bearmountainbbq gourmet blend, directly over the flame for a really clean burning wood fired flavor. Shrimp takes on a ton of flavor and quickly, so using a really nice wood pellet brings amazing flavor with ease. The grilled shrimp were piled into a base of @cabotcreamery cheddar, someday mixed greens and topped with guac and queso fresco. The guac was a simple mix of avocado, sour lines, @spiceology and roll and a splash of chipotle salsa. That chipotle brings out the wood fired flavor from the shrimp even more. #shrimptacos #tacos #tacotuesday #bearmountainbbq #cabotcheese #spiceology #grilledtacos
